AzAd Solutions (trading as Edument OS) provides school management software as a cloud service. This policy explains what we collect on edument.app and related product surfaces, and how we use it.
Seller / controller for website and account data: AzAd Solutions, 35-G Shama Plaza, 72-Ferozpur Road, Lahore, 54600 Punjab, Pakistan. We are the controller for personal data we collect about users of our product and site (for example account, marketing, and support data). Schools remain controllers of student and staff records they enter into the product; Edument OS acts as a processor for that tenant-hosted data under the subscription arrangement.
Information we collect
- Account and tenant data — school profile, users, roles, and operational records you enter into the product.
- Marketing leads — name, work email, institution, and message details submitted via demo or contact forms.
- Technical logs — limited request metadata, device/browser signals, and diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service (including IP address).
- Support messages — content you send to our support channels.
Payment card data for self-serve subscriptions is collected by Paddle as merchant of record. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Purposes and legal bases
- Provide the service (performance of a contract) — account creation, tenant hosting, billing notices.
- Respond to demo and contact requests (legitimate interests / consent where required).
- Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
- Product improvement using aggregated or diagnostic signals (legitimate interests).
- Marketing communications where permitted (consent or soft opt-in as applicable; you may withdraw consent).
Who we share data with
- Paddle — merchant of record for sale of subscriptions, payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing, and subscription management.
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, Workers, and security infrastructure.
- Service providers used solely to operate email delivery, support tooling, or similar subprocessors.
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers
Service infrastructure may process data outside Pakistan, including in regions where Cloudflare operates. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our processors.
Retention
Marketing leads are retained while useful for follow-up and compliance, then deleted or anonymized. Tenant data is retained for the life of the subscription and any contractually required wind-down period, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant isolation designed to separate school environments.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar storage for session authentication and security (for example keeping you signed in on product surfaces). We do not use non-essential marketing trackers on the marketing site by default. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent login.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal data we hold about you, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. We aim to respond within one month where applicable law requires it. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
