Who is Edument OS built for?
International schools, multi-campus groups, and colleges that need a single system for students, academics, fees, staff, and parent communication — without bolting together disconnected tools.
Can we send fee notices on WhatsApp?
Yes on Professional and Enterprise. Connect Meta WhatsApp Business in school Settings, then send approved utility templates with the invoice PDF from Fees. Email PDF notices via Mailflow are available on the same plans.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. All plans — Starter, Professional, and Enterprise — include a 14-day self-serve trial (card required). Subscribe via Paddle when you are ready; Enterprise supports up to 10,000 students, 1,000 teachers, and 10 campuses.
Where is data hosted?
Edument OS runs on Cloudflare's global edge network. Each school operates in an isolated tenant environment. See /security for encryption, subprocessors, and backup details.
Do you claim customer logos on this site?
No. We do not publish proprietary customer testimonials or logos here. Proof is how the product is built: for international school operations, with honest plan limits and security wording.
What does annual billing include?
Annual plans are billed upfront at roughly two months free versus monthly (Starter $290/yr, Professional $790/yr, Enterprise $1,990/yr). You can choose monthly or yearly when you subscribe.
How does self-serve checkout work?
All plans can start a 14-day trial (card required) or subscribe now with monthly or annual billing. Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record.
Can we upgrade mid-year?
Yes. Move between Starter, Professional, and Enterprise as enrolment grows. Limits and module unlocks apply after the plan change.
Does Edument replace Google Classroom?
No. On Professional and Enterprise you can integrate Google Classroom for courses and rosters while Edument remains the SIS of record.
Can Starter run multiple campuses?
Starter is one campus. Upgrade to Professional for up to three campuses, or Enterprise for up to ten including virtual and hybrid campus types.
Do you sign DPAs?
Contact hello@edument.app for DPA and subprocessors details during procurement. Security notes are on /security.
When should we leave spreadsheets?
When fee arrears tracking, attendance disputes, or multi-user edits become weekly fire drills — usually before 300–500 students. See /compare/spreadsheets.
